Strainer Assemblies

Our standard strainer end assembly consists of a 150Nb (6″) medium gal pipe driven into the ground at least 1150mm deep, with a tie back stay system attached.

The post is capped and the stay system is made up of a diagonal 50nb gal stay, a concrete stay pad and a 12mm tie back threaded rod. Years of research on stay designs have produced what we believe to be the best tieback stay system commercially available.

The strainer post is further strengthened by a full-length tie down star post that is attached at approximately 10 degrees off vertical. This helps prevent the strainer post lifting from the ground and enables us to guarantee our end assemblies against movement for a minimum of 5 years.

We offer the service of just installing end assemblies if your preference is to build fence yourself - end assemblies are the hardest part of fencing and specialised equipment is needed to install a good one.
