Walters Fencing Stay

The Walters Fencing Stay is made up of a diagonal 50nb gal stay, a concrete stay pad and a 12mm tie back threaded rod. 30+ years of research on stay designs have produced what we believe to be the best tieback stay system commercially available.

A slot in the bottom of the 50nb tube allows the threaded rod to be inserted through it, which means when the stay is tightened, the tube is under both compression and tension at the same time, far reducing the effect of bowing or deforming under pressure compared to a conventional stay where the rod is fastened below the tube. 

To install, drill two 13mm holes and insert the Bolt Setter through the bottom hole. Thread the coupling nut onto the bolt and threaded rod, then attach the stay using the stay points A&B. Locate in the stay tube in the pad and tighten! See instruction manual and video below for more information.
