Crimp Sleeves 4.0mm

Aluminium crimp sleeves for permanently joining fencing wire. Made in New Zealand by Strainrite, these sleeves create a non-abrasive joint that exceeds the breaking strain of the wire - stronger than any hand-tied knot and far cheaper than Gripples.

Each sleeve features a water-resistant grit adhesive for reliable performance in all weather conditions. Slide both wire ends through the sleeve and crimp 3-4 times from one end, overlapping each crimp to eliminate shoulders. Compatible with the Strainrite crimping tool.

Available in 2 sizes to suit most rural fencing wire:

• 2.5mm — suits 1.6mm to 2.5mm (16 to 12½ gauge) fencing wire
• 4.0mm — suits 3.55mm to 4.0mm (9 to 8 gauge) fencing wire, and 2.0mm HT barbed
